Councilman Donnie Kammer is currently chair of the Public Service Committee and Vice Chair of the Planning & Economic Development and Public Safety Committees.
Councilman Kammer hosts monthly Ward 7 meetings. The evening Ward 7 meetings vary to support local Ward 7 Community locations. Councilman Kammer usually hosts the majority of his evening meetings on the fourth Wednesday of each month at the Firestone Park Library (1486 Aster Avenue; 330-724-2126) or the Firestone Park Community Center (1480 Girard St; 330- 375-2806) at 6:00 pm. Councilman Kammer hosts a “Conversation with the Councilman” at 5:15 pm before the start of his 6:00 pm meetings to discuss Ward 7 issues or city related concerns.
In 2025 “Coffee with the Councilman" meetings will be held on a quarterly basis- typically January, April, July and October on the 2nd Tuesday of the Month at IBH (1601 S. Main St.) from 9:30 to 11:00 am.

Council Representative Kammer does not host evening ward meetings in November or December due to the holidays, but hosts an additional "Coffee with the Councilman" these months if needed. Councilman Kammer also hosts an annual holiday safety meeting in the month of November. The dates and location are determined closer to the holiday season to be transparent and support local Ward 7 locations each year who can accommodate the holiday safety meeting.
