Councilman Johnnie Hannah was elected in November 2023 to begin his term in January 2024. He serves on the Planning & Economic Development Committee, Public Safety, and Parks & Recreation Committees.

Ward 5 Council Representative Johnnie Hannah hosts his meetings on the third Thursday of every other month at 6:00 p.m. -7:30 p.m. at East Akron Neighborhood Development Cooperation, 550 S. Arlington St.
